My name is Sharon Brewer and I am a BCBA working with Behavioral Innovations Adult Services! It is such an opportunity to be able to support consumers and families at this stage in their lives. One consumer that I have just started working with has begun to generalize her strategy to deal with her anxiety when she is angry. She loves music and can remember a 100 stack CD storage unit, the order of the CDs, name of the song, and the artist. What an amazing memory and client who was able to remember the CD stack and generalize that memory cue to a strategy to use during storms as well!
My background includes working as a Behavior Specialist in Plano School District for 10 years and 19 years as a senior consultant at a Regional Service Center. I received my BCBA from the UNT program 3 years ago. I have two masters degrees one in education and the second in psychology.
Ted Goldberg is my fiancée and life partner. We have three vintage vinyl and guitar stores in antique malls. Two are in downtown McKinney and one in Richardson. We love having time to search for antiques and musical instruments for our stores.
If you see me around and want to get to know me I will talk to you at any time about horses and dogs. I have two and ride dressage (which is one of the Olympic sports). My guys and I don’t ride at the level of the Olympics but we work toward it.
I look forward to the opportunity to meet you!
