Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention is to target the core deficits of an autism diagnosis and ultimately improve an individual’s quality of life and their ability to adapt/learn in new environments. When it comes time to transition the student from a clinical setting to a less restrictive learning environment, it will be important to have a transition plan in place to maximize success. While every client’s treatment plan is individualized to meet their individual needs so should their transition plan.
