AUSTIN, Texas, January 21, 2020 – Patients and parents alike will be welcomed by the warm, fun, and inviting atmosphere characteristic to all Behavioral Innovations centers. The innovative facility provides a place for children to “play” while individualized skill acquisition, social skills, and behavior reduction goals are embedded within treatment.
Victoria Frescura, Clinical Director, will continue to lead the center and has brought great experience and knowledge to the Austin community and for those families looking for autism therapy in the surrounding areas. This new center will allow for better treatment overall and a continued focus on the children.
About the new and improved center, Victoria said, “We’re beyond excited to move into our beautiful new clinic! This relocation provides us with a premiere facility that will allow us to give our clients more opportunities to grow their skills and interests for years to come. The expansive space features room for group and individual therapy, sensory integration, as well as both indoor and outdoor motor play. We’re excited about sharing all that Behavioral Innovations has to offer with the Oak Hill community!”
The Austin Westlake center will also be rebranded as the Oak Hill center. This change better represents the area in which the center is now located and positions the Oak Hill center among the other three Austin locations. Behavioral Innovations also has centers in the Austin area in Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Kyle.
Behavioral Innovations was founded almost 20 years ago when Behavioral Analysts Lori Russo, Carla Edwards and Billy Edwards noticed a lack of available resources to assist children diagnosed with autism. Their first ABA-based autism therapy center was opened in Dallas, Texas in 2003. Behavioral Innovations strives to employ skilled and passionate personnel specializing in insurance, billing and the field of behavioral analysis with emphasis on clinical excellence. The staff at the learning centers reflects the passion and dedication to improving the lives of children on the autism spectrum and their families that drove Lori, Carla and Billy to start the company nearly 20 years ago.
