S.A.I.L. - Social Achievement Impacting Life

This program is designed for school age children with Autism or another developmental disorder in the Dallas Fort Worth area that need additional support in developing social skills.  The purpose of SAIL is to aide children in becoming socially skilled such that they have the ability to respond to a given environment in a manner that produces, maintains, and enhances positive interpersonal relationships.

Hours:4:15-5:15 Monday through Thursday

Details of the program:

• S.A.I.L consists of 10 different learning objectives

• During each session, the clients have the opportunity to learn a target skill, see it in action, practice it, use it in several situations, and report the effects in other learning environments

• Teaching consists of "lecture time", visuals to assist in teaching, role play, and question/answer time

• Homework is provided for the client and family to complete between sessions
