At Behavioral Innovations, we understand the importance of parent education and that parent involvement is a key variable in the success of your child’s intervention program. Our Parent Training Curriculum provides parents with the opportunity to work both directly with their child and our clinical staff as well as attend monthly instructional classes, designed to expand each parent’s knowledge on basic behavior principles, problematic behavior, and effective teaching strategies. Each component of parent training is designed to enhance parent’s ability to arrange a learning environment at home, to support the skills the child has acquired in therapy and to ensure effective management of challenging behaviors in the home.
