Details of the program:
Each child is assigned a team of therapists and a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who oversees the child's progress. BI partners with our families in delivering the highest quality therapy, emphasizing skill acquisition across multiple domains. This discipline insures the most rewarding benefits for your child. Each child receives a comprehensive behavioral assessment prior to beginning treatment. Each of their learning objectives are closely monitored, on a daily basis, through comprehensive data collection systems. Our therapist/child overall ratio is 1:2, however the children participate in a combination of 1:1 instructional sessions, 1:2 instructional sessions and/or group sessions depending on their specific needs and how quickly they acquire new skills.
Parents are required to attend monthly meetings with their consultant. Parents are encouraged to observe their child via our video monitoring system and may schedule time to observe as often as they would like. In addition, parents are required to complete a parent training course that is offered as part of our parent training program.
Additionally, a speech therapist and occupational therapist provide consultation to the program so that speech and occupational therapy techniques can be imbedded into each child's daily ABA program. Speech services at Behavioral Innovations are provided as an integral component of our ABA therapy so that our clients may benefit from their combined synergy. Our Speech Language Pathology (SLP) and Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) staff work together to create a comprehensive treatment program, addressing each child's unique learning requirements. Our speech pathologist works closely with the clinical staff and other service providers assuring the best coordination of therapy services for your child.
