Our state-of-the-art North Texas Autism Treatment Center and corporate offices are located in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Irving, TX. This Center is designed to provide a clinical setting where children receive superior therapy services. For children impacted by Autism, Asperger's, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsey, Prader Willi and other behavioral disorders, our caring staff provides the experience and skills proven effective in changing lives in a family-friendly, nurturing environment.
BI provides in-network services for Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, United Behavioral Health, Magellan, Humana (Lifesynch) and Tricare/Humana for our military families.
In behavioral-based early childhood intervention programs there is a much greater commitment of time and resources required when compared to other types of interventions. This commitment is paramount in order to bring about the positive changes in your child's behavior and allow them to receive the full benefit of the treatment. BI uses a "Whole Family" approach where both child and parent participation are essential ingredients in a successful program.
Children may attend our day program the North Texas Autism Treatment Center on a part-time or full-time basis. In addition, we offer a number of program choices ranging from two hour sessions up to full day programs every day of the work week. Generally, the part-time option is more applicable to children who are participating in a public or private school or in a home treatment program in addition to attending the treatment center. Each child is assigned a team of therapists and a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who oversees the child's progress. Recognizing the need for consistency as well as parents being able to maintain services for their child, Behavioral Innovations Dallas Autism Program and Fort Worth Autism Program is open year-round. Therefore, we accept children throughout the year, including just for the summer, so there's never a time when you have to wait.
BI partners with our families in our Dallas Autism Program and Fort Worth Autism Program delivering the highest quality therapy and emphasizing skill acquisition across multiple domains. This discipline insures the most rewarding benefits for your child. Each child receives a comprehensive behavioral assessment prior to beginning treatment. Each of their learning objectives are closely monitored, on a daily basis, through comprehensive data collection systems. The children participate in 1:1 sessions, interactive partners sessions and/or interactive group sessions depending on their specific needs and how quickly they acquire new skills. The goal of every treatment program is for the child to be able to learn from his or her environment and to be exposed to the least-restrictive setting possible in doing so.
Again, it is expected that parents will assume an active role in their child's programming. As such, parents are required to attend monthly meetings with their analyst and the team leader. Parents are encouraged to observe their child via our video monitoring system and may schedule time to observe as often as they would like. In addition, parents are required to complete a parent training course that is offered as part of our parent education program.
